Principal's Message

Welcome to Highview Elementary! We have a very unique and exciting opportunity to co-create something truly special at Highview Elementary. We are thrilled to have you join us on this adventure. Inspiring curiosity through a community of care is a mindset that drives our work at Highview. The word “curiosity” implies enthusiasm, excitement, and positive energy. It is impossible to be curious about something and not engage in learning. We also know that deeper learning occurs when we feel authentically connected to one another. 

At Highview, we are committed to growing the whole child, ensuring success both academically and social-emotionally. As principal, I believe strongly in transforming each child's educational experience through creating a culture of small-scale innovation and risk-taking. The goal is for each of us, students & staff, to be just a little bit better today than we were yesterday. And we do this through taking risks and trying new things in a safe and caring environment.   

Partnerships are central to our success at Highview. To that end, I encourage you to become involved. This is OUR school, where each person is seen, heard, and valued for the unique strengths, gifts, and experiences they bring into our school. You matter here at Highview, and we look forward to establishing strong partnerships dedicated to our shared goal of your child's success.
